Full 3D HFSS electromagnetic simulation of accelerating structures. Traveling-wave and standing-wave topologies. Dispersion curve, shunt impedance, and Q optimization before any copper is machined.

Electron-Beam Optics
Gun electrode design, focusing element placement, and beam-dynamic simulation from the cathode to the exit window. Emittance, perveance, and capture efficiency governed from first principles.

Steady-state and transient thermal FEA for cavity walls, RF windows, and gun electrodes. Power handling limits and cooling requirements derived from simulation, not empirical guessing.

Fit, form, and braze joint geometry designed for manufacturability. Tolerancing that accounts for differential thermal expansion in copper-ceramic joints and high-cycle fatigue in waveguide flanges.

Electron gun and modulator interfaces designed for kilovolt-class pulsed operation. Insulation coordination, creepage geometry, and pulse transformer coupling all engineered in-house.
